commit d118cd74b6ff342b978b493d56f9306028e364cf from: Peter Powell date: Tue Jul 14 13:37:42 2015 UTC Use "NOTICE *" before registration instead of "NOTICE AUTH". AUTH is a valid nickname so sending notices to it is probably not a good idea. Use * as the target instead as done with numerics when the nick is not available. This mimics the behaviour in Charybdis, IRCD-Hybrid, InspIRCd 2.2, Plexus 4, etc. commit - 571b1a8b83bee56a75728d44d2586a816401d434 commit + d118cd74b6ff342b978b493d56f9306028e364cf blob - b5db1d9e1edffa5af2070dfc27bf9fa990590ce6 blob + c39df5943e31a0995e5848cef8278007c75e27a2 --- doc/sample-ngircd.conf.tmpl +++ doc/sample-ngircd.conf.tmpl @@ -193,7 +193,7 @@ ;MorePrivacy = no # Normally ngIRCd doesn't send any messages to a client until it is - # registered.
